From time to time some images may require color correction, some of them may need slight changes to brightness and contrast as well. This work is always performed on the original image, rather than during the print process as with a film print. The image below is a thumbnail only. It will link you to a low resolution image which is intended to be viewed as a preview of the real image - what you may have referred to in the good old film world as a proof.

Most of the images you will see on this site have been heavily compressed into 'proofs' for ease of use and timeliness in downloading for preview. As a result some images may appear to have faults or abnormal features. Rest assured we only use high quality prints, these aberrations are only a result of the compression techniques used in creating the low resolution preview image. The images used for the final print are of the highest quality and do not have any of these anomalies.
